I really loved reading your blog from Romania because it brought back many good memories from when we were there. I had completely forgotten about Budesti for instance but Merry Cemetery I remember clerarly. It is hard to forget! I never saw the one who was decapitated though. I am surprised that you had problems at the border. Hungary and Romania are both in the EU and, even though Romania aren't part of Schengen yet, I still would expect passport control to take a minute at the most. We drove around Romania for three weeks when we were there and we still remember the signs saying "Drum in lucru", which means "Road work". There were many of those signs and often the road works went on for 30 km or more. So we also know that the roads in Romania can be in poor condition. /Ake
