We got off the tour boat and returned to the Rathaus square to check out the tourism office. At the base of the tall town hall tower the wall is marked with the high water marks of various floods. I wonder how the Global Warming/Climate Change crowd explains the fact that there were just as many nasty floods in the 1800's as in recent years.

We slept in an extra half hour and didn't take breakfast until 8:30. No need to explain how much I enjoyed it. There was only one other couple in the breakfast room.
