Part of the Residenz

The largest city palace in Germany, the Residenz was the former home of the Wittelsbach monarchy. It's a huge complex of 130 rooms and ten different courtyards. One of these days we need to tour it. Like most everything else in Munich this is a reconstruction built after the Second World War.

As mentioned previously my one and only complaint about the LetoMotel Munich (forgetting the cruise ship size tiny rooms) was the fact that breakfast was not included. A bakery occupied the same building but that appealed to neither of us.
