Pingxi lantern festival

This was the only date that I had fixed to work out our itinerary but as it drew nearer I did start to think that it was going to be a lot of hard work just to get to this festival, which entailed a couple of trains and a bus up into the hills for this huge festival that is held at the end of CNY Everything we read about it said that it was really packed out. But we wanted to go to see some other villages on the way so we thought we'd go.
