In July of 2011, we made the decision to leave our comfortable jobs in Northern California to see the world. We weren’t sure where we were going to go or how long we would be gone, but we wanted an adventure and we knew we could find it if we looked carefully enough. I was in Vietnam many years ago and afterwards I didn't feel like I needed to go back again. But after seeing your photos I realize I was wrong and in the future I will probably give the country one more chance. /Ake

Second trip....
We saw most of the country on our first trip, but this time we added a couple of places (Sapa and Ninh Binh) that made a second trip worthwhile. We usually just visit countries once, but I think Vietnam justifies multiple visits. Thanks for reading, Ake!
