Where have all the turkeys gone?

When we looked out of the kitchen window this morning, the resident flock of turkeys was nowhere to be seen. Are they hiding in the knowledge that today is thanksgiving in the USA? Smart birds. Or are they gracing someone' dinner table? At least a couple took to the trees. I didn't think they could fly that high. ... read more
