Japanese marathon runner Shizo Kanakuri

The day of the marathon was too hot for Shizo Kanakuri. He never finished the race. When he had recovered he went back to Stockholm and went directly to the hotel. In the 1960-ies a TV team brought him back to Sweden and let him run the last section of the race giving him a race time of 54 years, 8 months, 6 days, 5 hours, 32 minutes and 20.3 seconds.
