so friday was the most amazing day again. we went to subiaco, where st. benedict started his first monastery. that was nice and all, but then we went to cervara which was AMAZING. its this little shepherding village thats built on the side of one of the apenine mountains. there aren't even roads in it, just cobbled walkways. you have to park your car down the mountian and then hike up to the town. ... read more
