Nancy from To The Lighthouse? Eh?
True, I haven't read it. It's on the list.
BTW, I'm heartily enjoying The Bros K right now. I got the good translation like you said!
The adventures of Sarah continue! Your blog has been a study break for me today. I'm taking the NCLEX (kind of a big deal nursing test, so you can actually be a nurse in real life) next week - ahh!! So, during the day, I need something to distract my mind before it goes numb. Thanks, Sarah Jo! Oh, I loved the picture of the man glaring at you at the ham place!
DULCINEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! Brother Danny and I used to call Mina "Dulcimina" for a while after watching Man of La Mancha. It pissed Ma off.
Peter O'Toole has recently been in a few episodes of The Tudors. He plays some kind of Cardinal in the Catholic church who has fathered some chilluns. He truly has now dreamed the impossible dream. If you haven't seen it, The Tudors is pretty hot. There's this one scene where Henry 8 is whacking off into a towel being held by one of his privy council people. Awesome.
Yay Madrid! See, I <3 Madrid so very much - one of my favorite places I've visited. My favorite museum there - which is saying a lot, because omg the museums are awesome - was the Juan Sorolla museum. 1 euro entry, and his entire house is plastered with his paintings. Que bueno!
LaBoobs We're sad that one Miss Sarah LaBoobs didn't show off her la boobs on the beach. Otherwise, good job. Especially going dancing all night every night.
Sarah . . . World Traveler Sarah,
I amso happy that you are having such a fabulous time. Thanks for writing about your adventures and sharing them with us. I was glad to get your postcard, and April and Hannah were so excited to hear from you. They were surprised that you remembered them. I told them they were your inspiration NOT to have kids!!! When are you coming Home? Keep on having fun.
Love, Ann
Boo annoying and rude french boy! I should have taught you a cuss word or something for such a situation. Sorry about my negligence.
I too am finished. I took my last test on Tuesday (which i had to pass in order for them to let me take the NCLEX - which is the test that says whether or not i can be a real nurse) - by the way, I passed! Sam's commissioning and my pinning are on Friday. After that, the main goal is job getting for the next 6 months we are still in America (or assignment is on the border of mexico so practically another country). I demand to see you when you are back in the country. I love you much!

I am going to be done in the morning. I finished my degree, but I'm going to delay law school for a year. Sorry I haven't been commenting, this semeter was terrible. I loved the guy up on a pole in the last entry.
Yay for more france! Very lovely place! I'm glad you mostly enjoyed it.
Yes I am graduating, and actually officially took my last exam today. Woot! I am rather tired though, so this comment is short and boring. Sorry; I'll do better next time.
I heart you!
great entry! so my favorite part is the comment on the ruins picture "i'm over ruins at this point".. i know you thought of me when taking it though. hahahaha :)
Paris, je t'aime! You knew I couldn't resist this blog! I miss Paris!
You did a wonderful job taking pictures and looked very cute by the way! I'm glad you only met nice people (there are still a few around that haven't figured out tourism is what makes there city run).
You hit a lot of the good spots. PS that street is champs elysees with all the stores. It's where the tour de france ends and stuff.
So many of your pictures used to be everyday sights to me - like that big fountain was near our school. Oh, and I think I have sunned in that same spot in Luxembourg Gardens.
Funny story - this girl on my trip who tried to always speak in French and was generally a know-it-all got in trouble for trying to sun in her bathing suit in those gardens! What was she thinking!
Love you! Glad you are having a good time!
ha! I love the guy's form fitting armor. Paris sounds wonderful - i'm sure it has the potential to allow everyone to have their own interpretations and experiences.
HA! I love (louvre) that you took a picture of that creepy pederasty statue! Nice to know that I've made an impression. ;)
Also, I'm so glad that you enjoyed Paris, too! I think the French must be trying to reverse their bad reputation or something. Everybody was super nice to me, despite how dumb I was.
Sweet Sarah! The journey continues!
I like this Gaudi guy too. His stuff is so different and fun. Those 2 houses reminded me of gingerbread houses. Thanks for introducing me to him - considering I probably never would have known anything about him otherwise.
I hope you are well and staying very safe. I'm glad that you got your package finally. Were you able to make those things ok? Did they taste good? I haven't tried them, but I do know that Sam was very jealous when I brought them home from the grocery store and said they weren't for him. He loves TB too.
Update us soon on the rest of your adventures! Love you!
I'm moving to Rome where I hope to party like its 1999, but with an ipod.
Actually, I'm back from Rome and now I'm heading to York, England for 9 months. The part about the ipod is still true, though.
And I'm the one on the right.... full info
