I'm so glad you got to be reminded of a home, if not your own. Your G-ma would be proud, I think.
That architecture is AMAZING! Too nice a place, really, for Mr. and Mrs. Wickham!
Good beginning! Well, it starts. The Sarah LaBauve ridiculously long spring break all about Europe. Jealous, why yes I am.
I don't understand the blinking bridge. I'm confused.
You haven't bathed the whole time!!! EW!!! :)
We missed you... We missed you at Courtney and Travis's wedding yesterday. Don't worry...Kim may be too busy to comment, but I am still unmarried. Therefore, I have lots of time. (haha!)
Yes How fortunate that Corbin had a fake mustache at just the right moment. But how unfortunate that you all had sooo much gas. This entry reminded me of that scene in Amadeus where Wolfy farts to accent his song on the piano.
budapest? I might be going to Budapest next Fall if I can scrape together enough money. And I happen to love Roman ruins. I was afraid the food wasn't going to be any good, and those stuffed cabbage leaves looked rather shady. But everything else looks really, really good. Of course, one can't subsist on sugar-infused cafe fare for five months....
This is beautiful Good gravy, I wish I were there with you! Your pictures are, again, amazing. I'm glad Julia made you go!
Also, there were two other Bronte sisters who died in their youth, so at least Anne wasn't a total loser. It would suck being kin to two other (better) writers. God, they were weird. BTW, I'm still totally obsessed with that Kate Bush song.
And I see you're up to your old tricks--feeing wild life and all. Never change, Sarah J, never change! That little birdy was really cute.
A Thanksgiving Miracle! This is really impressive, Sarah! I can't believe you got a bunch of college kids to work as a family to produce what looks like an extremely wholesome meal. Your pilgrim forefathers would be so proud.
Also, I like like that your version of the Thanksgiving story excludes Indians. It's pretty funny.
I, too, wish you were here, Kim.
and i bet you would have liked the cherry beer. it tasted like soda.
have fun putting the final touches on your wedding arrangements!
Loved your London Blog Sarah,
I loved your notes from London. I can vividly remember how wonderful it was to have a Big Mac in London after all those fish and chips! Sounds like you are having a blast, and I am so glad. Your Belgium bicycle ride was awesome! How did you ever find the energy to do that?? Youth!!! It is wonderful to be able to keep up with your doings. Keep the news coming.
Oh my dear, dear Sarah! So much to say to you!
First - I must tell you that in order for me to satisfactorily read this post I had to have google maps in one window and dictionary.com in the other, but I will not tell you what I looked up - you'll think I'm an idiot.
Second - I wish I could travel with you - for many reasons - but mainly because you just go and do stuff without reservations. I love that about you and I wish I could go and do random (and sometimes painful) things with you.
Third - I can't believe you biked that far! Holy crap, I would have died! It looks like quite a distance on google maps. I am so proud of you!
Fourth - you are the first person who has ever made beer sound good to me. Cherry beer? That sounds like something I could handle.
Fifth - Caramel apple crepes? I hate you! caramel+apples=kim's favorite combo and you had it in a crepe!
I lost count - I'm so excited about all of your crazy fun experiences! Your story telling is fantastic, and your pictures are wondermous. You make me feel like I was there with you watching crazy people and getting frustrated at rude waitresses.
I love you, Miss Sarah Jo!
I can't wait til the next update!

I'm moving to Rome where I hope to party like its 1999, but with an ipod.
Actually, I'm back from Rome and now I'm heading to York, England for 9 months. The part about the ipod is still true, though.
And I'm the one on the right.... full info

I think that is the going price for aquariums. I was in Atlanta and the price was $30. I also said "No, thank you"
