Once I got to Bruges I couldn't take it anymore!!!! Off with the suede shoes and on with the flip flops. I didn't want to do this because with the amount of walking I do, my feet will start killing me because these flip flops offer absolutely no arch support. I don't know how Mary did it in Spain 2 years ago - kilometre after kilometre with crappy flip flops. Maybe it's because she was distracted by her mysterious rash the entire time! Doctors still don't know what caused it - was it a combination of the wine and seafood stew she always ate? An allergic reaction? The friction of some fat/hairy/greasy Italian dude named Fabrizio rubbing against her in a nightclub? We'll never know ...
