The fish soup was more like a stew, bursting with big chunks of fish, shrimps, and mussels. The shrimps and mussels were smartly added at the last second to preserve their texture. Served with a healthy dollop of garlic aioli, this was pure bliss in a bowl! The aioli was overpowering until you mixed it into the soup. Unfortunately, the soup looked pretty nasty after doing so, but who cares when it tasted so amazing? The sweet, sweet tomato broth ... the salad with a light creamy dressing ... so perfect together ... Such incredible taste and value - I've had $40 bouillabaisses back home that couldn't even TOUCH what I got here today. I was sweating like a pig after the first bowl and found that things got a little salty at the bottom of the bowl. I was pretty full but had to go for the included refill. They give you a little less for the second round, and no shrimp or mussels (another reason for not adding it until the last minute). No complaints, because it was still good, and the guy gave me even bigger chunks of fish!

I used some more free internet before going out sightse ... read more
