Excellent Fruit Selection ...

... but we couldn't help but wonder if not everything was in season, as the watermelon and pineapple were somewhat tasteless. The red dragon fruit excited us at first, leading us to hope that it would be more flavourful than the standard variety - it ended up tasting the same. We'd always wondered if dragon fruit would be better eaten in its nation of origin - while the texture and taste are better than what gets imported to Canada, it's still a very plain fruit. We went to town on the rambutan - very nice that they had been pre-peeled, making it so easy for us to pop out and enjoy.
