Assorted Seafood Goodies ..
... the three course set meal was something like 20 Euros, which you would probably pay back home just for a plate of cold seafood similar to this. The vaunted Bordeaux oysters were actually a bit disappointing - delightfully creamy, but oddly chewy, and not fully shucked so that we had to massacre the damn thing to eat it, ruining the texture. It also didn't help that we didn't know how to ask for tabasco! The razor clams were like rubber, the two types of snail gritty and bland ... the best things on the plate by far, were the sweet succulent crayfish and wicked peel and eat shrimp.
