... we weren't sure how good beef would be in Cambodia, but this filet was so tender that you could cut it with a fork, and had a nice sweet flavour to it. It was served with kampot pepper, which is apparently a renowned type of Cambodian peppercorn, but we didn't really notice anything distinctive about it. The one odd thing was the fact that it was served with ... BBQ sauce? Maybe it isn't so authentic here, after all ...
