Touich ...
... a fancier restaurant serving traditional Cambodian food in Siem Reap, we were hesitant upon arrival because it catered almost exclusively to tourists. These salad rolls alleviated our fears, as they were excellent, stuffed with grilled beef and shrimp, and rolled in rice paper that was thinner than what is used back home in the Vietnamese versions. The nuoc mam was very similar to the Vietnamese version, but with the addition of crushed peanuts. Our only slight complaint was that the rice paper was a tad oily, but we suspected that it was necessary in order to wrap these rolls so perfectly.
