... you can always tell if gelato is hand made, based on the tub - if it was hand made in small batches, it would be in a stainless steel tub; mass-produced stuff is placed in plastic tubs. Mass manufacturers clued into this, so they started to coat the top visible parts of the tubs with metallic paint, to try and trick people into thinking it was the artisanal stuff. But we can see your dirty little secret, you purveyor of mass-produced crap!
