... this girl on the tour wore the shiniest silver pair of sneakers today. Not the most practical footwear, since they were covered in black volcanic dust by the end of the day, at least they could've been used to signal any search planes flying overhead, had we gotten lost today. They also proved useful in the lava cave portion of the tour, as one flash of a camera reflecting off the shoes lit up the cave like a disco ball.
