Stromboli, Erupting Close to Sunset ...

... nearly on schedule, it erupts about every 20 minutes. Unfortunately, we didn't catch a big fireworks show after we had cruised around the island to view Sciara del Fuoco, a collapsed portion of the volcano. We did see some small flames and bits of magma spurt out, but it lasted barely a few seconds, and were unable to catch anything decent on camera.
