Last day Castellammare

September 24th 2017
A last round the village day...and pack up. Up in the hills behind Castellammare before the 79AD Vesuvius eruption there stood 6 very large Roman Villas. I think I mentioned earlier they are in the process of excavating. Their purpose was purely for leisure and the views. Quite large multi story buildings with ornate mosaic floors and fresco walls.
