Lots of zamia in this section had been worked over, the palms were dug up around the bases- pigs? emus? Didn't see any footprints that might offer a clue as to the marauder. Interestingly, where the stumps were broken a brown jelly substance was visible - ? sap?

Day 16 Murray to Dookanelly Shelter 19.5 km A super chilly night, woke up at 4:30 to the sound of machinery??
