Looking down at the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle

Walking to the opposite side of the hilltop we got these stunning views of the historic and touristy Royal Mile to the left. In the distance on the right side you can almost make out Edinburgh Castle.
Day Nine (On to Edinburgh)

I made the mistake of watching the morning TV news. The weather report promised more record high temperatures all over Europe. Luckily for us Scotland's record high temps would only reach the upper 80's instead of the near 100's further South.
