Praise the lord there is more to Thailand than Bangkok, that place stinks! Not sure what exactly the smell is though, maybe a combination of fish sauce, fried street food and warm open sewage. Like nothing I have smelt before not even festival toilets compete with the sheer stomach turning odour that lingers in your nostrils as you desperately try to breath through your ears!
