Fri. Feb. 23rd: Yesterday was a travel day. It was uneventful except for seeing a bald eagle. My old bird book doesn’t have them this far south, but my newer bird book has a much more expanded range as they recover from DDT. We’re settled into a campground in the suburbs of Mission, Texas.
