Sri Aurobindo Ashram

The home / ashram of Sri Aurobindo, and his life long and spiritual partner, known reverently only as "The Mother", is still a very sacred site that feels much like the heart of Pondicherry. Both his and her pictures are everywhere in this town, and the ashram itself a silent and very sacred place which people visit en masse, and volumes of their writings are available for purchase at very modest prices.
