Hastings Lock 18 June 3rd 2017 We are on the move again.
After spending three days at Young's Point, we were able to reach Hastings Lock number 18. Our stay at Young's Point was enjoyable and it gave us a chance to rest our weary muscle. We are newly retired and ready to cruise!
Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida.
Our land home is a small cottage outside of Lewisporte, Newfoundland, Canada. We hope to join cruising regattas organized by the Lewisporte Yacht Club members as they explore the Bay of Exploits, some of the best northern cruising grounds.
