The canal is better suited for kayaks

We are on the move again. After spending three days at Young's Point, we were able to reach Hastings Lock number 18. Our stay at Young's Point was enjoyable and it gave us a chance to rest our weary muscle. This heavy boat is a little difficult to handle in the locks. We are newly retired and ready to cruise! Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida.
