Travelling was a tad stressful. The Canadians did not recognise Kate's two attempts at applying for a VISA, so we travelled to Heathrow early to sort the problem. An enormous traffic jam outside Swindon added to the riding blood pressure!! A delightful BA lady spent 30 minutes sorting the problem out with the Canadian embassy, culminating with a smile and a nod. Our relief was compounded when the ... read more
