The school crossing with a twist...

The school crossing at Blossom Street Primary is done by the children themselves. The cars actually stop and staff observe from where this photograph was taken. Not the same health and safety rules as back home. It worked well and was good to see the children helping their school friends across the road in a safe manner!
Our first day at school!

Alex and I wanted to experience as much as we could whilst we we are here so one thing we asked was to visit a school different to Zwaanswyk Academy. Fortunately, Megan's husband Byron is also a school teacher and his school allowed us to visit for the day.
