Being in Cartagena over Christmas I saw the churches open and mass going on most days. They are beautiful inside! Note the statues in the foreground - the next two photos are closeups.

The heat, the humidity, the narrow streets, the palm trees and the beach: this is what I was looking forward to, a much needed break from the short days and rain in Seattle.
