New years eve. Our last day: just 16km or so to Batemans Bay. A bit more walking through Murramarang national park, a long walk along Long Beach and a final river crossing at Cullendulla river saw us pretty much home. We both still have ever-itchy feet and woke up in a cold sweat one morning with the realisation that if we did not take advantage of the under 30 (ish) work visa that Canada offers to Australian residents, we would never get to. So here we are over 17 months later, taking the long way home via South America. No need to rush... Post Script: We are now 4, not 2, and we are no longer under 30! We still have ever-itchy feet but also a mortgage to contend with so for the most part our travels from now on will probably be a little shorter in duration... but they will continue!... full info
