Greece December 18th 2015 After missing our 0430 flight to Athens, which we were one hour early for (don't ask, I'm still furious and awaiting a refund) we arrived in Athens in the late afternoon. We quickly got our rental car and were off to drive northwest into the mountains to visit Delphi and Thermopylae.

We are a husband and wife who work full time but love to travel as often as our bosses will allow. We prefer minimalist backpacker style travel and rarely stay in the same location for more than a few nights (much to my husbands chagrin). We prefer to go to far away and exotic locations outside of resort towns, preferably with a beach for some diving or mountains nearby for hiking.
