Love Ethiopian food!
I used to visit an Ethiopian restaurant in San Francisco with incredible little mounds of different veggies and grains on that great, sourdough-tasting injera--you lucky duck! How nice to meet up with a couple of Addis Ababans and get to share your beloved Curaçao a bit. It sounds as if from the attention you got from the touts and guides that it's clear they see you as a tourist. Well, at least you're not being stared at as in Asia.
