As a permanent reminder of the tragedy

The memorial is located SE of Regina's Legislative Building on the shore of Wascana Lake. The statue was purchased by the local chapter of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress & dedicated to the memory of the many children who died in Holodomor. The statue stands on an actual millstone, just as the original does.
