Mahinepua Peninsula (3)

Saving the best till last………Mahinepua Peninsula. We had been saving the Mahinepua Scenic Reserve track for when our daughter J and friend arrived. It was worth the wait. Mahinepua is a small peninsula between Tauranga Bay and Matauri Bay. The track takes about 2 hours return (photo stops included). Hi We are a Rotorua kiwi couple heading off on our big motorhome adventure around NZ after a year in the planning. Leaving our jobs (Cheryl - Radiology Manager & Lance -Accountant) is scary but also exciting as we celebrate our midlife with no income and semi independent adult children.
