Lakes Fabulous photos
I am envious of you living there in NZ and being able to take your time to,explore .... But then I guess that's the same for any country ....we sometimes don't appreciate what is on our doorstep . I stayed in a cottage on Rotoiti...so peaceful.
Thanks for your blogs and photos .
On the road again. Thanks for your blog. Thanks for your company over New Year. Thanks for the Major Island photo book.
We hope to catch up somewhere after our ICA Best of Marlborough safari / rally ends late March and spend some time on the road together. It is amazing that since early 2012 we have only spent one weekend motor homing together (Otamarakau).
Enjoy the South island.
Peaceful Many thanks for the lovely feedback. The walks have been amazing. Glad we are able to do them, pretty sure if we left our travels till retirement age we wouldn't be get to see half of what we have done

Marinas I like them too, there's that clanking clinking sound as the wind whistles round the masts.
Whangerai Falls seems familiar , I probably went there on my trip. All so beautiful , lovely photos.
Cheers
Happy memories Hi folks
I have just caught up with your blog and it's so lovely to read and to sea all the fabulous places you have been on your wanders. It brought back happy memories for me of travelling around New Zealand for 3 months in 2011 ...some in a motorhome some with hospitality swaps. I wa wondering if you had a home to go back to eventually or will you continue to live like gypsies ?
Happy travels

Not sure if we will end up back in our hometown when the year is up. Just going to see where the road takes us. Heading down south in the new year. Likely to look for some seasonal work to help with the finances. Glad to hear you are enjoying the blog.:-)
Thanks Andrew. I am enjoying the new scenery and the time. Lance occasionally rolls his eyeballs when we are out walking and I stop to take the perfect shot........it takes a while sometimes:)

Jealous much! So green with envy. This is my part of the world, where most of my family originated. Spent a lot of my childhood in the great Bay of Islands, and I believe no other part of NZ has come close to the beauty of it. Enjoy the beautiful Northland..
Happy camping! Hey you seem to be having a fantastic time! Good to see you're being consistent with the blog. We in a tiny village in UK where my brother lives. Surrounded by houses dating back to 1500s. There's a heat wave scorching us. You'd love it!!!! x
Auckland a perfect place for leisure. Auckland is one the most beautiful places on the earth. It is a peaceful place full of beauty, leisure. Auckland is a perfect place to spend holidays. Thanks for sharing your experience, your experience works as a guide for me.
Hi
We are a Rotorua kiwi couple heading off on our big motorhome adventure around NZ after a year in the planning. Leaving our jobs (Cheryl - Radiology Manager & Lance -Accountant) is scary but also exciting as we celebrate our midlife with no income and semi independent adult children.
Everyone knows we live in this amazing country and our plan is to explore NZ without timeframes, taking each day as it comes. Exploring all the places we have been past but never had time to stop and explore.
We haven’t been everywhere in NZ but it’s on their list!
