Edith Houghton's Jersey, Cap and Belt

She was a 10-year old who played shortstop for the Philadelphia Bobbies beginning in 1922. The Bobbies were a women's barnstorming club who toured the country playing against men's teams. The team also traveled to Japan to play baseball. Edith later became baseball's first female solo scout, working for the Philadelphia Phillies.
