We left the hussle and bussle of Saigon behind on board the 'not so' comfortable overnight bus to Nah Trang - described in the Lonely Planet as Vietnam's ultimate beach resort! We were sorely dissapointed! The sun wasn't shining and even if it has been I wouldn't have chosen to sit out on the beach! Having just spent the past five years at Uni, I have decided to reward myself with a year out and I am taking myself off round the world! The plan is to start off in the South Pacific - Cook Islands & Fiji. I will then head to New Zealand for a short time before heading over to Australia where I will spend about 3 months including 4 weeks with my friends in Perth, WA over Christmas and New Year (Aussue, Aussie, Aussie - Oi Oi Oi)!!
