What a trip! Hey Neil, at work and just spent the last ten mins looking through all your blogs again - what an amazing trip you've had! Safe journey home and when you get a spare momento let me know for a catch up beverage!
Coming home Hey there! Photos once again looking amazing. Have a safe trip back and we will have to catch up when you return. Not sure Aberdeen is quite as exotic as the places you have been though! x
Told you so!! Pathetic I know but the tears are trickling down my face as I look at the photos. How I love that country.... Delighted to see you look so well and happy despite the odd blip on the way. What a fantastic journey ( in every sense of the word) you've had. Can't wait to hear all about in a few weeks. Safe journey. Speak soon.xxxxx
mum Relieved to see you looking so well -was concerned I wouldn't recognise you at the airport!
South Africa is now on my list of "must see" places - you've marketed it well.
See you soon
Much love
Who needs a day job Who needs a day job when you can take photos like these!!! Good call on skipping the adrenalin for the countryside, I bet it was a real eye-opener. Thanks for the update!

Mum is lost for words I actually have tears in my eyes and a large lump in my throat - bewildered by its beauty and horrified by the cruelty. What an experience.
A ray of sunshine There was a ray of sunshine for a few moments when i read the blog and looked at the pics. Its now faded with being at work. You are taking after your big sister in the drinking of alcohol i see. Keep it up. Dont let the side down.
Love u lots and Miss u loads
The pool.... Glad to hear you haven't been locked up! Corruption seems to be the name of the game there. Perhaps your mission... should you decide to accept it!!!...is to clean it up. Ther's a thought for when you're fully qualified. Wonderful photos as always. Am concerned about the state of your liver!!! Speak once you get to SA. Keep safe.xxx
Lost for words - your pictures are breath taking and the children are just so beautiful. You look so "at home" with them. Feel I want to get on the next plane and come and join you. Your blogs are an inspiration and a great testimony to a truly fascinating country - keep them coming.
Hey Neil, Laos look amazing your pics are fab!Im so impressed youve made the effort to move off the beaten track and go to such a culturally different place - puts my version of "travelling" to shame - all ive seen so far are beaches and bars - need to catch up on the culture front!Keep up the good work - ur an inspiration!Take care - from another friend far from home!Bisous xxx
Cute!! Why can't the children I teach look as cute as these little cheribs!! They look so innocent and no doubt are. Looks a truly amazing place and every blog makes me want to visit that particular destination.

Lost for words Your pictures tell a fabulous story and give a real flavour of all that you have experienced. I'm really very envious - is it too late for a career change?
Quite fancy becoming a travel correspondant. Sure it would beat working for the NHS.
Having just spent the past five years at Uni, I have decided to reward myself with a year out and I am taking myself off round the world! The plan is to start off in the South Pacific - Cook Islands & Fiji. I will then head to New Zealand for a short time before heading over to Australia where I will spend about 3 months including 4 weeks with my friends in Perth, WA over Christmas and New Year (Aussue, Aussie, Aussie - Oi Oi Oi)!! In January, I head up into South East Asia, where I will take in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Malaysia. Now that I am TEFL certified, I may try and find ... full info
