Into the wild!
So impressed with your tour to the Tiwa! I've read tons of great blogs on Oz and the wonderful, unique wildlife, but yours is the first on the Aboriginal culture. Thank you for splurging on the massively expensive tour, so we could vicariously accompany you meeting Aboriginal people living in their original home, speaking their own language and practicing their own traditions. I am always so amazed by the varieties of human culture! And of course, your adventures in the parks were great--finding ancient Aboriginal art, swimming under waterfalls, seeing amazing termite mounds and wildlife similar to those in other wetlands. An adventure perhaps not undertaken by many Australians.
