Well Done Jeremy - pretty impressive! Madagascar is on my list, but next up is The Nile. We have just done Greece and Turkey (this time got to Cappadocia. Weird landscape). All the best John

Cuevas de las Manos Fabulous images of a site we did not quite make on our self drive Patagonian adventure, though it was in our plans. We kinda made up for it in our needle in a haystack find of Los Indios ancient buffalo & various images near Lago Posadas. Cuevas de las Manos is the best Los Indios site so congrats on achieving it.
El Chalten Your trek to score your panorama over Laguna de los Tres at the base of Mount Fitzroy is a memory for you for the ages. Then to the base of the needle Torre. I would love to have seen a pic of that.
Greetings from Koh Jum Hello Jeremy and Jane,
thank you for such an amazing blog! This particular text brought back some great memories - we hope we will see you one day again in Koh Jum and in Rim Tang!
By the way, my wife has a website now for her little restaurant. You may check it out at http://rimtang.simplesite.com (I linked this blogtext there as well, I hope you guys don't mind!)
All the best and safe travels in future,
Vellu Kievimaa a.k.a. Muu Yai
I miss it Awesome write up. I had a similarly lovely experience with jemri and the tribesmen of Boti and None. Even though we got totally stuck in the Mud on the way back from Boti. In case youre curious about that story: http://west-timor.info/index.php/tribes-of-west-timor/ I recommend anyone to do this tour if you already made it to this remote piece of land
great work on riding the loop! my mum completed with me in 2015. proof there is no age limit haha. i like that you guys are limiting your travel on planes that really opens the doors to more adventure. I am traveling without using them at all.'keep up the travels

Wanderlust Dear Jane and Jeremy,
I loved reading your blog and am glad to see you continued having a great time after we met in Kyrgyzstan. Your texts and pictures gave me itchy feet, thank you very much ;-)
By now I guess you will be completely settled in and all your time on the road will start to feel unreal and distant. Good luck with your next adventure - every day life - which I find so much tougher than travelling!
It was great to meet you and share a small part of your big trip with you,
hoping to meet you again somewhere some day,
big hug from Berlin, Imogen
amazing journey Hi Jane and Jem
I have regularly read your blog throughout the year - what an amazing trip - love to you both and hope to see you soon, Lucy
Into the wild! So impressed with your tour to the Tiwa! I've read tons of great blogs on Oz and the wonderful, unique wildlife, but yours is the first on the Aboriginal culture. Thank you for splurging on the massively expensive tour, so we could vicariously accompany you meeting Aboriginal people living in their original home, speaking their own language and practicing their own traditions. I am always so amazed by the varieties of human culture! And of course, your adventures in the parks were great--finding ancient Aboriginal art, swimming under waterfalls, seeing amazing termite mounds and wildlife similar to those in other wetlands. An adventure perhaps not undertaken by many Australians.
Jem and Jane travelled across Europe and Asia in 2014/15 and documented our experiences. We finally got to New Zealand in June 2015.
We l travelled in Patagonia for six weeks in 2019 and going back to Argentina where I started this travel blog in 2006.
We are currently touring Madagascar for 4 weeks in October 2023.... full info
