Day 21/22 - Portage, AK to Anchorage and Home 6/5& 6/2015

Man, did it pour our last night in Portage. In fact, when we awoke on Friday, it was still raining hard. Ray was disappointed, as there was a trout pond right near us he was hoping to try out, but it was too wet to go. The Cat Herder Gold Rush

The Cat Herder and his wife are a retired couple residing most of the year in Northeastern USA. Since retirement we have taken a liking to traveling, sometimes with a large group of our friends, other times with our long time friends and travel companions, John and Diane. The term "Cat herder and his wife" originated from our first Med cruise. There was a group of 12 on that trip, all retired.
