After a great nights sleep at Kathleen Lake, we headed back up the Haines Highway to Haines Junction. The Cat Herder and his wife are a retired couple residing most of the year in Northeastern USA. Since retirement we have taken a liking to traveling, sometimes with a large group of our friends, other times with our long time friends and travel companions, John and Diane. The term "Cat herder and his wife" originated from our first Med cruise. There was a group of 12 on that trip, all retired. It has been so enjoyable reading your daily activities on the travel blog! The photos are wonderful. Nothing like the great BIG outdoors and being surrounded by such beauty! I'm anxious to hear how y'all feel when you get behind the wheel of your own car upon your return and back to every day "local" scenery. Tiny I think! Keep the blog coming! Here's to y'all ?.
