We endured multiple rainstorms and flooding throughout the area while camping Memorial Day Weekend at this park. It's a very nice State Park even given all of the tremendous storms and showers. I Just love traveling and camping! When my children were smaller, we were avid campers and outdoors men through the Boy Scouts. My honeymoon actually consisted of camping in the TexArkana Area of Lake Ouachita for two weeks. I've been on a couple of cruises as well; traveling to areas of Mexico & Jamaica. Both were just gorgeous. Granted pre-arranged trips are very nice, but I truly prefer to camp in the great outdoors. I love staying in State Parks, as they provide the basics of home showers and running water, with the beauty of Mother Nature as your canvas backdrop. :-) Hope to see yo... full info
