Suu Kyi (The Lady)

I exited the elevator just prior to Suu Kyi as she left our hotel Saturday morning. She is in the turquoise dress and moments later, was just about one foot away from me. She is absolutely beautiful and so very gracious. Applause greeted her as the elevator opened.

Another early a.m. flight as we left Bagan and now in Mandalay. Mandalay airport is the largest in Burma and the only one that has long enough runways for internatitonal flights.
