Te Anau and the Cave of Glow Worms
October 17th 2011 It was a foggy day as we left the mainland of Te Anau and headed into the mist on the water by boat to the glow worm caves. The caves were surrounded by mossy trees and the walls of the cave were wet like they had been the walls of a steamy shower. We climbed into a small row boat and rowed into the darkness in the cave.
