My first official "sight-seeing" day was to the Sunshine Coast, about an hour from home-base. First stop was the Eumundi Market, a colourful, bustling spot, showcasing a kaleidescope of offerings produced by local artists and artisans - sights, sounds and smells confirming that I am, indeed, far from Portneuf, Quebec.
