31st July Penzance to Helford River. Left Penzance at 0815 when the lock was open and had the tide with us for quite some time, good as we only had light winds. Then as we turned around the bottom of Lizard point...it all turned against us. We were in very choppy water where the two currents met I guess and sometimes we were only doing 1.5kts.
