Holiday with friends
I'm with that roaming fox! What can be better than fresh figs, real Greek yogurt, swimming in warm water and friends? Times like that, I figure I'm on holiday from my travels. I guess once a place is declared a UNESCO site and has been "discovered," not to mention in high season, it's going to be hard to have an authentic experience. I imagine it's quite different in the low season--but then your friends wouldn't have been there. Nothing's perfect, but this sounded pretty good.
