Disney: Promoting Cheap Labor?
April 28th 2014 It was surprising to me to discover that Disney stores produce their products from sweatshops. Workers within these factories work as long as 18 hours per day for only 16p per hour in southern China. They must live in dormitories that are way too small, and they're stuffed in these dormitories with 16 other strangers. Workers have to pay "rent", which is $8.20 a month.
